# Emails GradingPal sends

> Which emails go out, who receives them, what triggers them, and the address to allow through your spam filter.

Every email comes from **GradingPal**, address **[hello@mail.gradingpal.ai](mailto:hello@mail.gradingpal.ai)**. If a school filter blocks it, that's the address to allow. Referral invitations come from the same address with the referring teacher's name in front.

## To teachers

Reminder emails about unfinished setup or a quiet account also go out from time to time.

## To students

| Resubmission request |                                                         | You select **Ask to resubmit** on a failed submission   |

## What can't be turned off

There are no notification settings, so none of these can be switched off individually. The sign-in link only goes out when someone asks for it; the rest follow your own actions or your students'.

## When an email didn't arrive

* Check spam and quarantine for [hello@mail.gradingpal.ai](mailto:hello@mail.gradingpal.ai).
* For a student, check the email on their row on the **Students** tab. A student added without an email gets nothing until one is added.
* For feedback, check the row says **Shared**. Approving sends nothing.
* Select **Resend feedback link** in the row's menu to send the feedback email again.
