# Your account

> What you can change about your account, where the settings you're looking for actually live, and what doesn't exist.

This page is mostly about what isn't there, and that's deliberate. Most settings in GradingPal belong to a class or an assignment, not to you.

## The account menu

Select your name or avatar at the top right. The menu holds exactly two things:

| **Billing & usage** | Your plan, your monthly limit, credits and add-ons. [Change your plan, add capacity or cancel](/teachers/billing/manage-plan) |
| **Sign out**        | Signs you out and closes any open support chat                                                                                |

Next to it, a usage chip shows how much of your monthly limit is used, and a **Bucks** chip appears once you've earned any through referrals.

## What doesn't exist

* **There is no profile page.** Your name is captured during onboarding and there's no screen to change it afterwards. Contact support if it's wrong.
* **There is no account settings page.**
* **There are no notification preferences.** The emails GradingPal sends can't be switched off individually. [Emails GradingPal sends](/teachers/account/emails) lists them.
* **There is no account-level time zone.** Time zone is a class setting.

## Where the settings you're looking for live

| Time zone                                    | The class: **Settings > General > Time zone**. It decides how every due date in that class reads |
| Feedback style, length, language             | The assignment: **Assignment > Feedback & grading**                                              |
| Grammar check, partial credit, hidden points | The assignment: **Assignment > Feedback & grading > Grading rules**                              |
| Join code                                    | The class: **Settings > General**, or **Show join code** on the Students tab                     |
| Standards frameworks                         | The class: **Settings > Standards**                                                              |
| Google Classroom connection                  | Connect or reconnect from a class's import screen                                                |
| Your saved instructions                      | **Your prompts** inside any assignment's instruction library                                     |

## Your email and sign-in method

You sign in with Google or with an emailed link to the address you signed up with. There's no screen to change that address. If you need to move your account to a different email, contact support from the **Support** tab with both addresses.
