# Grade an assignment

> The whole job in four steps: create the assignment, collect the work, review the grades, share the feedback.

Grading in GradingPal runs in four steps, in this order. Pick the one you're on.

    Choose Instant or Guided, give GradingPal the assignment, and get a rubric or answer key in place.

    Walk the class, change what you disagree with, approve as you go.

    Send grades and feedback to students, digitally or on paper.

* the class name and the assignment name
* roughly when it happened
* what you saw on screen, or the exact message

Students don't have support chat. If you're a student, ask your teacher.
