Approving moves a row to **Ready to share** and sends nothing to anyone. * A submission that has been shared can't be changed or regraded. * Every score change asks for a reason. That's deliberate: it's your record of the judgment, not a report to anyone. This page follows the screen for writing, presentations and art. Quizzes, exams, worksheets and problem sets grade per question on a different screen, and video and audio has a player. Pages for those screens are coming next. ## Walk the class Open the assignment. In the bar at the top, select **Review N grades**. It opens the first submission that needs you. You can also open any one from the **Submissions** tab: filter by **Needs action**, then select **Review** on a row, or click the student's name. The student's work is on the left. On the right, **Rubric Scoring** shows the total and one card per criterion: the chosen level on a coloured bar, the points, and **AI analysis** with the reasoning and an **Evidence** list. Click an evidence card and the passage lights up in the work. Students never see the analysis or the evidence. Two flags need you. **Needs your review** means the AI didn't guess because it couldn't see what the criterion needs; select **Grade it myself** or **Add context & regrade**. **For your attention** is a note the AI left only for you. Click a different level on the bar, or click the points and type a number. The card asks **Why are you changing this?**: choose **Too harsh**, **Too generous**, **Missed evidence**, **Misread the work** or **Rubric judgment**, then select **Confirm change**. **Revert** puts the AI's score back. On the **Feedback** tab, hover a section and use the pencil to **Edit manually** or **Edit with AI**. To comment on a passage, select the text in the work, choose **Add Comment**, write, and select **Comment**. Select **Approve & next** \[2]. The pill at the top changes to **Reviewed** and the next student who needs review opens. Use the stepper \[1] to move between students yourself; its dropdown lists the whole class with an amber dot on anyone still waiting. After the last student, a toast says **All submissions reviewed**. Select the back arrow to return to the **Submissions** tab. ## Approve without opening On the **Submissions** tab, tick the rows you've already looked at and select **Approve N** in the bar that appears at the bottom. Or select **Approve** on a single **Needs review** row and confirm. Either way the grade is accepted exactly as the AI left it. To put one back, open it and choose **Mark as needs review** from the menu at the top right. ## How to tell it worked On the grading screen the pill reads **Reviewed**. On the **Submissions** tab the same row reads **Ready to share**, and the bar at the top reads **N of M reviewed · ready to share** with a **Share with class** button. Nothing has gone to students yet. ## If something goes wrong It moves to the next student who still needs review, not the next row. Students already approved, still grading, or failed are skipped. Use the stepper's dropdown to open a specific student. Open the submission, select the menu at the top right, then **Mark as needs review**. Nothing was sent. The submission has been shared. Shared work is locked; the menu says **Shared with the student — locked**. Points are hidden for this assignment, so the screen shows levels without numbers.
