# Print and hand back feedback

> Get a paper report for every student, for a class where nobody has an account.

### Limits and notes

* Printing doesn't change a row's status. A printed row still reads **Ready to share** unless you also share digitally.
* Hidden points stay hidden on paper: no score block, no point values, but the level names and feedback are all there.
* A report includes the AI's reasoning and evidence under each criterion. Decide whether that suits the student before handing it out.

## Print for the class

    In the bar at the top of the assignment, select **Share feedback** or **Share with class**, then **Print & hand back**. Or tick rows on the **Submissions** tab and select **Export PDFs** in the bar at the bottom.

    For rubric-graded work: **Rubric scoring** and **Feedback & comments**. For question-based work: **Overall feedback**, **Questions & scores**, **Question feedback** and **Rubric details**. All are on by default except **Rubric details**.

    Select **Export N**. A ZIP named after the assignment downloads, with one PDF per student named with the student's name and the assignment title. For one student, **Export PDF** downloads a single PDF.

## What one report contains

The assignment title and the student's name. A score block with the points, the percentage and, for quizzes, how many questions were graded. **Overall Feedback**. Then, for rubric-graded work, **Rubric Scoring** with each criterion's level, points, level bar, reasoning and evidence, followed by **Student Feedback** with the sections and the targeted comments as quote-and-comment pairs. For question-based work, each section and question with the answer given, the correct answer marked, the points, and the per-question **Feedback**, **Strengths** and **Areas for Improvement**. **Grammar** findings come last, with the suggested fixes. The footer reads **Generated by GradingPal**.

## How to tell it worked

The ZIP is in your downloads with one PDF per student. GradingPal records the export on the assignment, so the bar's "feedback exported" note appears once everything is done.

## If something goes wrong
