## 18 September 2026

`Students` `Sharing`

### Students who sign in with a different email now find their feedback

A student added to a class with one address who signs in with another used to land in a loop. Now every way of adding a student links to their existing account, a signed-in student goes straight to their feedback, and a student on the wrong account sees a clear message with a **Switch account** button. ### Exported scores keep their decimals

**Export scores** now writes points to two decimal places and uses the same headline grade you see on the row, so a printed report and the spreadsheet agree. [Export scores and reports](/teachers/share/export-scores)

`Grading` `Video`

### A video that can't be played fails with a clear reason

A damaged or incomplete recording now fails as **Couldn't play the video** with the file named, instead of a generic error. The row offers **Replace file** or **Ask to resubmit**, and the failure dialog names the file for too-large rejections too. [A submission failed to grade](/teachers/fix/grading-failed)

### Plan limits were adjusted

The monthly limits on the Free and Lite plans and the price of a credit pack changed. The numbers are on the pricing page in the app; the help center describes limits in words on purpose. [Plans and what is included](/teachers/billing/plans)

**Fixes.** Instant setup no longer stalls on a Google Classroom handout with a very long description, and stops cleanly if the assignment is deleted while setup runs. A video that can't be processed within its time budget now fails with a named reason rather than hanging.

### GradingPal 2.0 is live

The redesign shipped this week, and this help center was rebuilt to match it. The short version of what changed: two setup routes, **Instant** and **Guided**; **Batch Scan** for a whole class in one PDF; **Ask GradingPal** for changes you approve one by one; a **Needs review** to **Ready to share** to **Shared** flow where approving never sends anything; per-assignment analytics; and standards with an optional mastery layer. ### Scans and images are read at full fidelity

Every document and image the AI reads is now processed at high resolution, so faint handwriting and small print on scanned work come through more reliably. [A scan or handout was not read](/teachers/fix/scans-and-handwriting)

### The Submissions tab opens on All

It used to open on **Needs action**, which hid rows people were looking for. It now opens on **All**, with the filter chips one click away. [What each status means](/teachers/collect/statuses)

### Duplicate an assignment from General

The menu item is now **Duplicate assignment**, and the row in Settings moved from Danger zone to General, where it belongs. [Assignment settings](/teachers/create/assignment-settings)

### The home checklist can be hidden, and tours behave

**Hide checklist** hides the dashboard checklist for good, tour and checklist state follow your account rather than the browser, and **Take a tour** works on the second click without replaying on reload. [Find your way around](/teachers/get-started/find-your-way-around)

### Removing a standard set warns you from the assignment too

Dropping a set that has evidence behind it now asks before it hides anything, wherever you do it. [Set up standards for a class](/teachers/insights/standards-setup)

**Fixes.** The reason on an unmatched file is one short sentence. An assignment title in the class list is a real link, so it opens in a new tab. The **To review** tab shows its empty state when only old items remain. Every row under **Learn & support** on the dashboard goes somewhere real. **Get a Quote** opens the quote form. Long file names stay on one line in upload lists. A class checklist ticks **Create an assignment** only once one is built. A referred teacher is no longer asked how they found GradingPal.
