There’s one way into a class, and four ways to get there: a code, a link, the join page, or Google Classroom.

With a code

The code is six letters and numbers, like ABC234. Sign in to GradingPal, select Join a class, type the code, and select Join. The class appears on your home page. If your teacher sent a link, open it. It fills the code in for you; sign in if you’re asked, and you’re in.

If your class uses Google Classroom

You may already be in. The screen says “This class enrolls students through Google Classroom.” You don’t need a code; your teacher adds you from Classroom and your work goes through Classroom too.

If the code doesn’t work

  • Check every character. There’s no 0, 1, I or O in a code, so those are always something else.
  • Codes can be reset. If your teacher reset it, the old one and the old links stop working. Ask for the new one.
