The Support tab

A vertical Support tab sits on the left edge of every teacher screen. Select it to open a chat. You’re already identified, so there’s no form to fill in; just say what’s wrong. If the chat can’t load, the same tab falls back to email. You can also write to support@gradingpal.com.

What to include

  • The class name and the assignment name.
  • Roughly when it happened.
  • What you saw on screen, or the exact message.
  • What you’ve already tried.
When a submission fails to grade, the row’s Contact support button opens the chat with the assignment, the submission ID and the error attached, so you don’t have to copy any of it.

Students

Students don’t have support chat. A student with a problem asks their teacher, and the teacher writes to support if needed.

Try these first

Most tickets are one of three things:

A submission failed to grade

Read the badge, use the button the row offers.

Students cannot see their grades

Approving is not sharing.

Fix a problem

Every symptom, in your words.

Feedback about GradingPal

A Feedback tab sits just above Support. It asks whether something worked and takes a sentence or two. It goes straight to the team, and it isn’t a support channel; for a problem, use Support.
